As far as the sectional division of the CLAT is concerned, a consistent trend has been maintained by the paper setters. Though, there have been minor fluctuations within the internal pattern of sections and the type of questions asked. The difficult level of the CLAT questions varies between moderate to difficult.

One of the most important sections of the CLAT is Legal Aptitude. This section is considered as the game changing section of the exam primarily because the marks of this section are the tie-breaker in case of equal scores. Also, candidates have no previous preparation of this section at school level unlike the other sections like Mathematics or English.
