The AILET score is a prerequisite for admission into the law programs offered by prestigious National Law University (NLU), Delhi. AILET is conducted once every year in the month of May. Considered as one of the toughest Law entrance examinations in the country, it tests candidates on 5 areas i.e. English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics.
You can get an overview of the level of difficulty and types of questions asked in the previous years by downloading the PDFs of the AILET papers. Solving these papers will give you a clear picture of your areas of strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, it will also help you condition yourself to the actual test condition.
*Questions in these papers are memory based*
The Paper setters have maintained a constant paper pattern over the last couple of years for AILET. Unlike CLAT, AILET is a pen and paper based exam with 150 questions to be solved in a span of 90 minutes (1 hr. 30 mins). Hence, time management is of utmost importance. Students need to solve previous year papers as they give a fair idea of the level of difficulty of the questions and the areas from which maximum questions can be asked. Practice is the key to scoring well in the AILET.
The next step after taking these tests is to analyze your performance in all the sections. After knowing your weak and strong areas, you must revise the topics you need to. You must remember that without the correct knowledge of the various concepts only practice will not be fruitful.
